I grew up in various small towns in Illinois and moved to Sarasota, Florida to attend the Ringling School of Art and Design. I graduated from Ringling in 2004 with a BFA in Fine Arts. My emphases at Ringling were Conceptual Practices, Performance and Collaboration, which helped me to work with a large range of groups and individuals, such as the Red Hat Society, Pines of Sarasota, Sarasota News and Books and the Ringling School of Art and Design. I am currently the curator at mack b Gallery, where I am responsible for helping to design a gallery that is intent on educating and constructing a community that fosters contemporary art in Sarasota. In November of 2005 I helped to cultivate an artist collective entitled What is Public Art? The WiPA? collective is responsible for various public performances and installations that hope to cultivate discussion and intervention in an expanded public field, which means we want the residents of Sarasota to question their ideas of public space and how we work together. I hope that as I continue to work and live in Sarasota I can propagate the necessary relationship behind artists and their community.

Graphic Love Juice is a project focused around smiling with ambiguity. Its purpose is to create imagery for t-shirts and posters revealing the hilarious truths within 21st century slang, idiom and vocabulary.

I am a visual communicator. I attended Ringling School of Art and Design from 1999-2003 within the Graphic and Interactive Communications department. In 2002 co-founded Porch Magazine and Spooky-Maceo Productions www.spookymaceo.com which dealt with social issues in the community and exposed artists, self-published between 2002 - January 2007. On a yearly basis I provide pro-bono design services to SPARCC (Safe Place and Rape Crises Center of Sarasota). Currently the Executive Creative Director for The American Tin Ceiling Company www.americantinceilings.com located in Bradenton, Florida.
